Micro motor features
The main difference between our DC micro motors and conventional DC motors is in the rotor. The rotor does not have an iron primary but contains a self-helping Conveyor Chain skew-wound copper winding. This featherweight rotor has an extremely low minute of inertia, and it rotates without cogging. The result is the exceptional dynamics of our motors. For low power micro motors, commutation systems using valuable metals will be the optimum solution due to their low contact level of resistance.
Our precious steel commutated motors range in size from simply 6 mm to 22 mm in diameter.
We complete the drive program by providing a number of additional hightech standard components including high resolution encoders, precision gearheads, and drive electronics. We focus on the modification of their drive systems to fi t the customer’s particular app requirements. Common modifications include vaccuum compatibility, extreme temperature compatibility, modified shaft geometry, additional voltage types, customized micro motor leads and connectors, and much more.
